How a Double Check Valve Assembly (DCVA) is tested. Using a calibrated differential-pressure gauge, a certified tester isolates and reads each check valve through the test cocks and shutoffs:
- Check Valve #1 — must hold tight, minimum 1.0 psid.
- Check Valve #2 — must hold tight, minimum 1.0 psid.
All readings recorded, device tagged, result certified pass or fail.
