Our Services

Creating and maintaining your outdoor spaces.

Brookstone Outdoors has worked in Delta and Montrose counties since 1997. We design and build landscapes — patios, walls, plantings, irrigation, lighting — and then we keep them alive. Six departments, around two dozen people, twenty-one trucks with equipment and trailers. One company for the install and for every season after it.

That matters more than it sounds like it should. The department that trenched your irrigation is the one that comes back for the leak in July, working from its own records rather than guessing at what is buried where. The mowing crew that notices a head spraying the fence does not have to talk you into calling somebody — they tell the irrigation department. Nothing gets handed to a contractor who has never seen the property.

Start wherever you are — a full design-build, a mowing schedule you never have to think about, a sprinkler zone that will not shut off, or a driveway that has to be clear by five in the morning.

Full-service lawn and landscape care for Delta and Montrose — mowing, fertilizing, spraying, cleanup, and aeration, all tuned to how yards actually grow on the Western Slope.

The sign says Creating and Maintaining Your Outdoor Spaces. This is the creating half.

The yard gets watered whether or not you are home, at the hour water soaks in, in measured amounts. It is what makes a real landscape possible here.

Lighting is the one thing in a landscape that changes what the property is for. A yard with no light is finished at dusk.

Plowing, shoveling, and ice control for homes, lots, and sidewalks — we stay on top of the storm and come back for windblown drift and ice to keep your property safe.

If you already know which of these you need, start there. If you do not, that is the more common situation and it is not a problem.

What gets reported and what is actually wrong are often in different departments. A brown patch in a lawn comes in as a lawn problem and turns out to be a head that stopped turning. A tree going backwards in its third year gets blamed on the tree and is almost always water. A wet corner that will not dry is sometimes irrigation and sometimes grade, and those are two different crews and two different fixes.

So the useful thing to tell us is the symptom rather than the service. Describe what you are looking at, and we will work out which department it belongs to. If it belongs to two of them, they are both here.

Each category above opens into the specific work under it, if you would rather look first.

Tell us what you are seeing and we will come and look at it.
