Handling

Cutting

• Tools: Use a sharp utility knife or specialized poly pipe cutter for clean cuts. Avoid jagged edges to ensure good fitting connections.
• Square Cuts: Make sure cuts are square to prevent leaks at connections.

Fitting Types and Installation

Barbed Fittings

• Insertion: Warm the pipe end slightly with a hair dryer or similar if it's too cold or stiff, but be cautious not to melt it. Slide the pipe over the barbed fitting.
