Care Instructions

White spruce performs best in full sun and well-drained soils. It prefers moderate water during establishment but becomes relatively drought tolerant once mature. It is highly cold hardy and typically does not require winter protection. Regular deep watering during the first few years helps establish a strong root system. Pruning is minimal and usually limited to removal of dead or damaged branches or light shaping when young. Adequate spacing and airflow help maintain plant health and reduce stress.
