A South Wind will be coming from the Montrose or Uncompahgre National Forest plateau can be viewed in the distance. In this case, the wind is blowing from the South, carrying your spray toward the North and the Grand Mesa.
When spraying during a light breeze, position yourself upwind of the target area, so the wind carries the spray in the intended direction and minimizes drift.
