Linden

Lindens are stately shade trees prized for their symmetrical canopy, dense foliage, and refined appearance in formal and residential landscapes. They develop a strong central trunk with a pyramidal to oval crown that matures into a broad, evenly shaped canopy. Their heart-shaped leaves create a lush, uniform texture that provides deep shade and a polished look in streetscapes and yards. In early summer, clusters of small fragrant flowers appear and attract pollinators, adding subtle seasonal interest. Lindens are commonly used as boulevard trees, shade anchors in front yards, or in larger landscapes where a dependable and long-lived shade tree is desired.
